It started in a scratch kitchen in Santa Rosa, California.
In 2011, wildbrine started in a scratch kitchen in Santa Rosa, California, crafting nutrient-dense meals for people with advanced health needs. Real fermentation was never a selling point. It was simply the standard, because anything less wouldn't do what we needed food to do.

Over a decade later, every kraut and kimchi is still made the same way: raw, unpasteurized, and alive with the cultures that nature creates. No shortcuts have been taken. None will be.
Real fermentation means no vinegar, no pasteurization,
and
nothing cut short.
We believe in doing things the right way, not the fast way. Real fermentation takes time, patience, and respect for the process. The result is a living food that delivers nutrition at a depth and diversity that shortcuts simply cannot produce.
"Just real fermentation that fuels your body and helps you LIVE WILDLY ALIVE."
A Thriving Gut
IS A THRIVING  you.
In a world of complicated health hacks, wildbrine is something different: a keystone food that works quietly and powerfully. We honor the slow, traditional craft of fermentation to deliver the raw, living energy your body thrives on. When your gut is in balance, it sets the tone for your full wellbeing—fueling vitality, resilience, and clarity from the inside out.

Ceres Community Project

Health starts in community, too.
Wildbrine was shaped from the start by a belief that real food has the power to heal. That belief has always extended beyond our own products. We've been proud supporters of the Ceres Community Project, a nonprofit in Northern California with a mission that aligns with our own: creating better health for people, communities, and the environment through clean, nourishing food.
Growing the next generation of food-conscious leaders.
Through four program sites across the San Francisco Bay Area, Ceres provides over 200,000 organic whole food meals a year to community members navigating serious health challenges. Every one of those meals is prepared by young volunteers who learn to grow, cook, and champion real food — developing skills, confidence, and a sense of belonging that lasts a lifetime.

Ceres has since helped launch similar programs in eleven communities across the United States. It's the same spirit that drove the founding of wildbrine: the conviction that food, when it's real, when it's made with care, has the power to transform lives.
We support Ceres through financial contributions, product donations, and a shared commitment to the healing power of whole food.

A Practice as Old as
health itself.
Come alive at cell level.
Every jar of wildbrine is an invitation. To go deeper than "gut health." To discover what your body is capable of when you feed it something real. To embrace the raw energy of life that's been harnessed through fermentation for thousands of years and let it work for you.

The food system has gotten complicated. wildbrine keeps it wild: vegetables, real ingredients, and true fermentation.
